The story: Our Galabeya Clutch originates from the galabeya, a centuries old costume worn by both men and women for special occasions and originally made by the Bedouin of the Sinai in Egypt suited for nomadic life due to its free flowing style. Each is heavily embroidered with intricate cross stitch covering the arms, neck and base. Our craftsman and creative extraordinaire from Cairo, Noor designs and hand makes each clutch from traditional galabeya’s and a myriad of embellishments including old coins, tassels and curios making every one unique.
